The perimeter columns were in sections that extended 3 floors. Many of them seemed to be cut at the ends of the sections, making them 3 floors tall. I don’t know about the core columns, but a similar pattern is likely. Why cut a column when you can blow out the bolts? They didn’t keep much of the steel around to study.
