I usually like reading Umair Haque's writing. Therefore I eagerly read into this piece looking for the smoking guns he promised. But there were none. Russians saw Trump as a fool and a destabilizing influence on the US. But there is no evidence here that they could do, or did do, anything that would bring about this desired end. Umair recycles the debunked claim that the Russians hacked Hillary's emails. Is that all he's got? This article is absolutely hollow. So it's back to square one.
